Polyakov Vladislav: “Vietnamese swimmers are big obstacles”
The champion Polyakov Vladislav from Kazakhstan is the biggest rival of Nguyen Huu Viet at the 3rd AI Games. He stated “I love the Vietnam team. The swimmers are so young and strong and quick to learn. I have noticed this last time I went to Bangkok, Thailand to compete. They are such huge obstacles for me in winning gold”.

 

Tall, strong, with very long arms, Polyakov Vladislav always get applause from the audience everytime he is in the line to compete. He is named “the hero” of the Kazakhstan swimming team after successfully winning three golds in the first two days of competition as part of the total of 5 golds the whole team achieved so far. He won these medals in men’s individual breaststroke 100m and 50m and men’s team 4x50m. 

To the Vietnamese spectators, Polyakov Vladislav became very familiar because he is considered the biggest rival of Nguyen Huu Viet, the pride and the hope of the Vietnam team. In both days competing agaisnt Nguyen Huu Viet, he won gold. He stated: “I love the Vietnam team. The swimmers are so young and strong and quick to learn. I have noticed this last time I went to Bangkok, Thailand to compete. They are such huge obstacles for me in winning gold”.
 
Talking about the performance of the Kazakh team, Polyakov Vladislav appeared to be very satisfied, especially after the first day of competition.
 
Polyakov Vladislav started swimming ten years ago. In Kazakhstan, he is one of the most outstanding athletes and the two-time Olympian.


With one silver, one bronze, Nguyen Huu Viet has done a remarkable job for the Vietnam swimming team in the competition. He admires the Kazakhstan swimmers for their physique, strength and skills.
